Our Process
1. Schedule an Estimate
Our process begins with a visit to your space so we can learn about your vision and get the measurements we need for an estimate.
If you already have an idea about the type of flooring you’d like, we can bring in some samples to see how the floors look in within your space and lighting in a true shop-at-home style.
2. Estimate is Accepted
At Palouse Floors, we don’t believe in billing for work before it’s done. Once accepted, we invoice for materials only, allowing us to purchase the necessary materials we need before installation begins. Once work is completed, we will charge for labor.
3. Schedule Installation
We mostly work on a first-come-first-serve basis while also valuing our clients deadlines. Communication is key during our scheduling process.
Installation Begins
All of our installers at Palouse Floors are local, in-house employees. We do not sub out work. When you work with us we are guaranteeing hardworking and trustworthy people who truly care about the customer.
4. Tear Out
We’ll take care of all torn out materials so you don’t have to.
5. Floor Preparation
Proper floor prep is what separates a good install from a great install. A level floor allows flooring to last longer and is required for warranties. At Palouse Floors we highly value the preparation process as we believe the quality of a well prepped floor is worth the time and investment to ensure you’re getting the most from your floors.
6. Installation Begins!
Every product is installed a little bit different, but we make sure to install to manufacturer standards to preserve your warranty.
7. Clean Up
Once the flooring is installed we’ll make sure the space is clean and your floors are ready to enjoy!
8. Final Follow Up
Following your flooring installation, our team at Palouse Floors will reach out to make sure the work has been completed to your satisfaction.
